A special feature of this conference was a Public Talk on “Euler, the Master of us all” by Prof. R. Balasubramanian, Director, Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai (one among the very few top-most Indian Mathematicians in the world).  This talk was organized specially to mark the 300th Birth Anniversary of the famous Mathematician, Euler.  This special lecture was attended by the delegates of the conference as well as many of the faculty and students of NITK.  The talk was perceived by the audience as one of the very unique and informative talks.

There were two parallel sessions each of Contributed Paper Presentation on June 6 and June 7, 2007.  A total of 35 papers were submitted for presentation; but due to some unexpected events, especially in the North India, some of them could not reach the conference venue.  Finally, 16 papers were presented.  Of the papers presented, four papers were given the Best Paper Award.  These four papers were authored by Kuldeep Singh Charak, Vasudevrao Allu, Ms. Sanjeevani Gharge and P. Raghunath.

There were 80 delegates apart from the invited speakers and the executive committee members of the Ramanujan Mathematical Society.
