This was followed by the Plenary talk by Professor H. S. Wilf (USA) on "Refinements of Ramanujan's Congruence modulo 5".

At 11.30 Hours (IST), Session 11 commenced under the chairmanship of Professor Jaikumar Radhakrishnan. Professor S. Arumugam (India) delivered an invited talk on "Independent Domination and Graph Colorings". This was followed by an invited talk by Professor Bruno Courcelle on "Graph Equivalences and decompositions definable in monodic second-order logic. The case of circle graphs".
