The Ramanujan Mathematical Society which was founded in 1985 has completed 20 years. To mark this great event, the Society is organizing two international conferences, one on Number Theory and the other on Discrete Mathematics. The conference on Discrete Mathematics was organized jointly with the IISc Mathematics Initiative (IMI), Department of Mathematics, IISc, Bangalore during December 15 - 18, 2006. In summary, the programme was a grand success.
Academic Programme:
The academic programme consited of Plenary talks, Invited talks, Poster paper presentations and mini-symposia encompassing most of the areas in Discrete Mathematics and its applications. Details are available in Conference Schedule.

Lecture Notes:
The Proceedings of the conference will consist of the notes of the Plenary, Invited and mini-symposia talks. In addition, papers presented at the poster session would also be considered for the Proceedings. The Proceedings is expected to be released in final form (after review by experts) in about four months from now.
